OVIT Consulting AS (org. no. 925 989 703), operating under the brand name OVIT CLOUD ("we", "us" or "our"), is the data controller for the personal data processed through our websites and services. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use and otherwise handle your information, and which rights you have.

5. Data sharing and processors

All hosting and infrastructure is operated in Norway, and we do not transfer personal data outside the EEA. We never sell your personal data. We only share it with:

  • Data processors that help us operate the services (categories: payment provider, e-mail and support tools, and infrastructure and operations providers) – these only process data on our behalf and under a data processing agreement
  • Public authorities when required by law
  • To protect our or your legal rights
  • In connection with a possible merger or acquisition of the company

Under the GDPR and Norwegian privacy legislation you have the right to:

  • Right of access: You can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Right to rectification: You can ask us to correct or update your information

  • Right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority: If you believe the processing of your personal data breaches privacy rules, you can complain to Datatilsynet (www.datatilsynet.no)
