How to set up an SSL certificate Print

SSL certificates on OVIT Cloud

All hosting packages include a free SSL certificate from Let's Encrypt. The certificate is issued automatically once the domain points to your hosting, and renews by itself before it expires.

No https after a day?

  1. Check that the domain points here: the name servers are ns1.ovit.cloud and ns2.ovit.cloud, or the A record for @ and www is 136.148.132.11.
  2. Log in to the control panel at web.ovit.cloud.
  3. Choose Manage Virtual Server → Setup SSL Certificate.
  4. Open the SSL Providers tab and click Request Certificate.

If you get an error, the domain usually does not point here yet. Contact support and we will help you.
