Email setup for OVIT Cloud
This is how you connect your email to Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird or your phone. The settings are the same for every domain hosted with us.
Incoming mail (IMAP)
- Server: mail.ovit.cloud
- Port: 993, SSL/TLS
- Username: your full email address, for example post@yourdomain.no
Outgoing mail (SMTP)
- Server: mail.ovit.cloud
- Port: 587 with STARTTLS, or 465 with SSL/TLS
- Authentication: required, with the same username and password as for IMAP
Use mail.ovit.cloud, not mail.yourdomain.no. Our certificate covers mail.ovit.cloud, so you avoid invalid-certificate warnings. If you prefer POP3, use the same server with port 995 (SSL/TLS).
